Data Usage Monitor & Widget, for iPhone.

Last updated 25 September 2026

This app collects no data at all.

There is no account, no login, no server, no analytics and no advertising. Nothing you do in the app is transmitted anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to be transmitted to. Its App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.

What the app reads, and where it stays

To count your data the app reads two things that iOS already keeps on the device:

Everything derived from those readings, along with the plan size, reset date and line name you enter yourself, is written to a database on your iPhone only. A copy of the current totals is shared with the app's own widgets through a private App Group container, which is a sandbox only this app and its widgets can open. None of it is uploaded, backed up to us, or shared with anyone.

What the app does not do

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the alerts at half, eighty percent and the limit are scheduled locally by your iPhone. They are not push notifications, no server is involved, and nothing is sent anywhere to trigger them. You can turn them off in iOS Settings at any time.

Purchases

The optional one-time unlock is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple handles the entire transaction. Your payment details are given to Apple, never to this app, and the developer never sees your name, card, email or address. The app asks Apple a single question, which is whether this Apple ID owns the unlock, and stores the yes or no answer on the device.

Exporting your data

The CSV export writes a file into the app's own storage on your iPhone. It goes nowhere until you choose to share it, and where it goes then is entirely your choice through the standard iOS share sheet.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything it ever stored, immediately and permanently. There is no copy anywhere else, so there is nothing to request, nothing to wait for and no one to contact. You can also clear the recorded history from inside the app, under Settings.

Children

The app collects nothing from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. If a future version of the app ever collected anything, that change would be described here before it shipped.
